TODAY...
is one of those days. Where everything seems a little bit overwhelming. If I sat down to watch a sappy movie or listened to a certain song, I might just sit there and cry.
But I've also been experiencing God's overwhelming love in such a surreal and tangible way. When things don't go as planned or just don't seem fair, I'm learning to be patient. I'm learning to be still. I know God is teaching me something in this moment and I'll do my best to listen. I'll do my best to FOLLOW.
Even when I so badly want life to go my way and things to fall in place as I would have planned, I will sit back and enjoy the ride. There may be tears, but there is plenty of love, laughter, and blessings to experience daily as well.
Thank you, God, for the constant reminder of your faithfulness.
I've been keeping a journal of songs. Songs that I wake up with in my head in the morning. It happens almost daily and it's so interesting to look back and try to determine if it means anything, if God's trying to tell me something. Some are repeated quite often, and some are very random. I'm just grateful that it's almost always a worship song in my head. I'm either having some sweet dreams or God just puts these songs in my heart.
This song has been meaningful in the last couple of weeks.
