Back in December or January, my friend Kara and I decided we should go somewhere warm. It was at the point where we were getting sick of snow and especially sick of being cold all of the time. Sunshine sounded wonderful!! She is a travel agent, so we started talking about some options. Through some research we decided on Texas. It’s probably not a place I would pick or would necessarily be on the top of my list – but it was warm and sounded like fun! So… we booked it toward the end of March. It was hot! We definitely got what we wished for! The hottest day was 97 degrees and we both got a good sunburn the first day we were at the pool. The sun didn’t feel quite as good after that, but it was well worth it! We had a blast and it was a great, relaxing time away! Here are some pictures of a few highlights.
