What does the word MOM mean?? I think it can mean many different things to different people. I know that everyone thinks their mom is probably the greatest, but… my mom has got to be the best in the world!
There are some ways I am different from my mom, but there are more that we are the same! First and foremost, she loves Jesus! I’m blessed by the example we had set for us growing up in a loving, Christian home. She has a big heart and would give anything to have the best for her children. She cherishes the time we spend together as a family and especially with “her girls”. She always has an open ear and shares in our joy and pain in life. As I type this, my eyes are filling with tears. Yes, I also get my emotions from my mom! :) Sometimes it’s good… sometimes I feel like I need to pull it together!
I pray that I can someday follow in her footsteps if/when I’m blessed to be a mom in the future. I know moms always feel like they probably didn’t do everything right, but I know they do their best at the time, and I will be forever grateful to my mom for that! Thanks for your unconditional love, your care, your concern, your nurture, your example, and most of all for the many prayers that have been prayed on my behalf through my lifetime! Keep them coming! :)
I’ve also been blessed to have a great mother-in-law. I just want to say “THANKS”. Every day I live with your son, I’m thankful for the example that you were to him and for the way that you raised him also. He is a great husband with a huge heart, lots of joy, a love for God, and places high importance on family. I know that was taught through his growing up and for that I will always be grateful!
We love you both – Happy Mother’s Day!
