Kenna,
You are 1/2 year old today! So hard to believe and you are growing and changing so quickly. This was also your first day dealing with teething and not much could soothe you (no smiles in today’s pictures and also why you’re in pj’s)!
This month included a lot of fun, new things. We started adding more solid foods. In addition to your oatmeal and cereal, you are enjoying carrots and beans. You also get to taste other foods from mommy’s plate if they’re safe… like applesauce or cool whip.
You love to play, jump, roll, and hang out with other kids. They keep you entertained so easily!
Praise Baby is one of the easiest ways to calm you down or just to get you to relax. You also like to cuddle on the floor with daddy.
You usually like to sleep and like to move around a lot during naps or nighttime. When you’re in a room with light, you always cover your face with the blanket or burp rag if you want to go to sleep – it needs to be dark. A lot like your momma! :)
This is also the first month you needed to wear a stocking hat and bundle up. You even got to play in the leaves for a bit when mommy and daddy raked.
For the most part you are smiley, happy, and content….
…but definitely not today when your teeth were hurting. Not.so.fun! Mom and Dad are already feeling sorry for you and hoping this doesn’t last long. We love you, baby!
