9 Months

Kenna,

You are 9 months old and sure keeping us on our toes!  You’ve grown up so much this last month.. you hardly seem like a baby anymore.  You are never short of smiles and always on the go!

You’ve gotten really fast at crawling and want to be more and more independent.

You prefer to feed yourself but that also leads to big messes.  Good thing it’s usually easy to clean!

You had 2 more teeth pop through this month and also learned to pull yourself up by things and stand.  You love to play toys (especially your standing piano) and read books!

Because of your teething, you started biting on your crib, so we had to come up with a quick solution – masking tape and towels!  The varnish on your chin didn’t look very tasty.

You also learned to give kisses and love sharing them with daddy.

There’s nothing better than coming home from a day of work and seeing your face light up when we walk into a room and reaching out for us or crawling up and tugging on our legs.  This whole parenthood thing is so rewarding and we are so lucky to be your parents, little girl.  You are growing so fast and we love you more and more every.single.day!  You are a blessing!
