Carving pumpkins is really a lot of work, but fun! David has never carved one before so I was really hoping we could do it together, but we had quite opposite schedules last week. I decided to carve a Hawkeye and thought he’d appreciate it (yes, this was before their bad loss over the weekend).
I showed Kyler my pumpkin and he wanted to carve one too, so he came over on Saturday and we carved one together. Well.. sort of! Kyler was a little hesitant of the gooey, slimy inside. He really didn’t want to touch it and didn’t want to get dirty - so I would scoop out the stuff and he just dumped it on the paper. It made me laugh because my sister Tiffany (Kyler’s mom) is the exact same way. I think she’s gotten a little better over the years now living with 3 boys in the house, but when we were little I was always trying to get her dirty because she absolutely hated it. What goes around, comes around Tiff! :) We did have fun and got the pumpkin done anyway!
